What is IPL?

The most common reason patients seek treatment is to get rid of brown spots and sun-damaged skin, especially on the face and décolleté, but also on the arms, hands and even legs. A second common complaint is rosacea, which is ruddy skin with unsightly “broken blood vessels” or capillaries.
The skin may appear reddish for maybe 30-60 minutes after the treatment. Temporary darkening of spots and flaking of the area is normal and will typically subside in 1-2 weeks post treatment. It is recommended to avoid direct sunlight, especially tanning after the procedure while areas are healing.

Morpheus8 facial treatments goal is to achieve more defined characteristics and a younger, brighter appearance. During treatment, energy is delivered to treat tissue as well as address signs of aging, irregularities and pigmentation.

Mild redness and swelling may be present for 12-36 hours on average post procedure. Small pinpoint bleeding may occur during procedure. Sunscreen and makeup may be applied 1-2 days post procedure along with resuming most normal activity.

Treatments are done 4-6 weeks apart in a series of 3. Recommended yearly maintenance to continue collagen stimulation and optimize results is preferred.
